У подножья вулкана Arenal есть отличный парк - с видом на катящиеся из кратера по склону раскаленные камни, с водопадом и прочими местными красотами. Среди которых - небывалое разнообразие колибри. Мне удалось снять только тех, которые часто присаживались и подпускали к себе поближе. Но это – малая часть того, что там можно увидеть...

Thank you. Volcano Arenal is a very special place in Costa Rica. Not mentioning the fact that it is acting (in darkness, you can see red-hot stones rolling from it), there is a special micro-ecosystem around it, with forests, animals of 100s of species etc. - all different from other places. A magic spot.

In fact, all Costa Rica is a salad of places like this. It has many climate zones that could change every several km. And it's the country of national parks and refuges (up to 37 percent of territory of the country is under protection).
